The mission of the ministry is to bring the message of evangelization through technology and social media to all parishioners who are sick, homebound, and to all who cannot attend Mass. The audiovisual ministry works under the direction of the priest in close collaboration with liturgical ministers, the clergy, and the musicians to create an experience of profound prayer and great participation of the people of God in all celebrations of Holy Mass and parish events. Training will be provided.
Ministry Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Arriving at least 30 minutes prior to the start of Mass or other events.
- Taking care of equipment and handling it professionally.
- Assisting musicians and readers with microphones when necessary.
- Following instructions given by the Communications Coordinator.
Requirements:
- Must be a registered member of this parish.
- Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Must have basic knowledge of social media.
- Must be able and willing to work under pressure and multi-task efficiently.
