Altar Servers

Assist at the altar, especially at Sunday and Holy Day Masses. Boys and Girls are welcome as servers. Each individual interested in becoming a server must meet each of the requirements below.

• Must have received his/her First Communion
• Must be in fifth grade or higher
• Must have a good understanding of the Mass
• Must be able to follow directions
• Must learn the proper names of the articles used at Mass.

Training is required before a person officially becomes an altar server.
